CommentSpotter

FAQ

What is Commentspotter about?
In the last few years a trend has emerged on many websites to give visitors an opportunity to actively participate and contribute to a site's content.
On sites like YouTube, MySpace, Flickr, Digg and Reddit, users can not only post their own articles, videos or pictures, but they can also comment on already submitted content. More often than not, these user comments are funnier or more interesting than the actual content.
Have you read a comment somewhere that made you smile? Share it with other people on CommentSpotter.com!

Can I submit comments from any website?
Yes, you may submit comments from every website where visitors are able to communicate with eachother. Forums, guestbooks, social networking sites etc. Anything and everything goes, as long as it's on the worldwide web. Just make sure that the site's terms of agreement allow you to do so.

How long does it take for my submitted comment to appear on the website?
All submitted comments need to be approved first before they appear on the site. This usually happens within 24 hours.

I want to submit a comment but it doesn't seem as funny anymore when it's taken out of context.
That's what the "Description" field is for! Describe what makes it funny, why it made you laugh, or anything else that is worth noting. Also be sure to provide the URL so people can at least read the original comment in its context.

I don't want to see my comment on your site. Can you remove it?
Sure, just send us an email and we'll delete it asap.
